One night, as Krystal and Ian were getting ready for bed, they heard a noise outside.  It sounded like a cat or a baby crying and it seemed to be coming from out near the street.  Ian and Krystal decided to go outside to investigate.

When they got outside, they couldn’t believe what they saw.

Fah Ling 1Out near the street, by their garbage can, sat a toddler boy.  They looked down at him, trying to figure out where he came from.  Suddenly, a flash of recognition came to Krystal.

“Fah Ling!” she cried, scooping the boy up into her arms.  Both she and Ian cried and laughed and showered their once missing child with kisses and hugs.  Where he had been and who had taken him were questions they put out of their minds.  They had their precious youngest child back, and that was all that mattered to them at the moment.

Fah Ling was whisked into the nursery, where he joined his brothers and sisters.  He quickly found all the toys, and began to play.

Making up for lost time with her youngest, Krystal started to work with Fah Ling on talking.  While she knew the girls were older and should develop their skills first, she wanted to lavish attention on her baby that had been bereft of his family’s love for so long.

YAY! Oh YAY! I cannot believe you got him back! Yay!

Now I can quit feeling sad. 😀

Hey, I really was sad. You’re a pretty good writer. That “only known picture” thing . . . it got to me.

I had found out there was a way to fix the glitch, and by doing so, was able to bring about the return.

Thank you. 🙂 That ‘only known picture’ if I remember was a picture where I was taking a shot of the babysitter and he just happened to be in the background. So, if it hadn’t been for that, there would have been no baby picture of Fah Ling at all.
